The internal revenue service (IRS) is America’s bloated agency for tax collections. It currently has a staggering 85,000 employees, all dedicated to wringing money out of hard working people and businesses. Hundreds of articles detail how that hard earned money, sometimes earned by regular Americans working two or three jobs, is squandered through ever increasing government spending, corruption, fraud, and absurd projects, such as trying to measure the effect of alcohol on Chinese prostitutes, shrimp on treadmills, and completely corrupt green energy pipe dreams, like Solyndra.
Congruent with his amazingly consistent war on the American people, including allowing 100 hundred thousand citizens a year to be killed by fentanyl brought across the Southern border and not investigating China’s use of biological warfare against the US, President Biden wants to literally double the number of IRS employees to something like 172,000. This is a staggering number of government employees, all of whom will get cushy salaries and benefits. At the same time Biden’s proposals for the defense budget do not even keep pace with inflation. For perspective, compare the 172,000 employees of the new proposed IRS colossus with the feeble numbers for some critical defense agencies and groups.
While Biden proposes 172,000 IRS employees, with all their envy and hatred focused on Americans, here are the numbers for other government employees we really need:
(1) The total number of active duty marines is about 180,000, a significant percentage which are not in combat arms (so they cannot fight). Biden thus wants an IRS comparable in strength to the United States Marine Corp.
(2) The approximate number of employees in the CIA is 20,000. So, we will have more than 8 times as many IRS employees than intelligence analysts.
(3) The approximate number of employees in the FBI is 35,000. After several years of watching FBI agents effectively commit treason by working to remove a sitting president and undermine his policies, perhaps this number should be even smaller. We do not need the FBI spying on and attacking American citizens. It is disgraceful, and many of those disloyal agents should go to jail for long prison sentences. Nevertheless we believe most FBI agents are trying to protect America. Do we really need an IRS 5 times bigger than the FBI?
(4) The number of ICE (Immigration and Customs Enforcement) employees is approximately 20,000 scattered around the world. Biden proposes to actually cut the budget for immigration enforcement, since he wants a wide-open border. What do ICE agents do, when they are allowed to do their jobs? They interdict and combat drug and weapons smuggling across our borders. They arrest and deport illegal immigrants who are murderers, gang members, rapists, human traffickers, and drug smugglers. They combat violent gang activities, they detect and destroy smuggling tunnels, and so on. Approximately 100,000 Americans die now overdosing on drugs partly manufactured in China, completed in Mexico, and smuggled across our southern border. With 100,000 Americans dying each year from drug overdoses, is this really the right time to slash the ICE budget and undermine the morale of the agents themselves? Moreover do we really need a bloated IRS more than 8 times larger than ICE? Perhaps half of the IRS agents should be sent to the southern border and redesignated as ICE agents. Biden is fond of mandates, perhaps he could craft a mandate requiring half of the IRS transferred to the southern border or be terminated. He was happy to issue such an unconstitutional mandate against police officers, firefighters, nurses, doctors, US Marines, Navy Seals, pilots, and other critical personnel.
(5) Finally, the current number of active duty Navy Seals is approximately 2,500. That tiny elite force of hard men, upon which we rely on so heavily to do our dirty work, should warmly comfort themselves with the knowledge that while they are risking their lives trying to kill scumbags like Bin Laden, 170,000 IRS agents will be scouring the bank records of their wives and children to see if they sold an old car, had a garage sale, got money for their birthday, and did not report the income. That’s great President Biden.
Although we can chuckle painfully at these disgraceful facts, and marvel at the absurdity of the world while smoking from our free crack pipes, these and other misguided priorities reveal a horrible truth about the far left and the Biden Administration. They hate America. And they hate Americans. They are committed to bringing America down – to weakening it, while strengthening our enemies. Uncontroverted evidence, including the Hunter Biden laptop, now shows that the Biden family is one of the most corrupt political families in US history, having taken many millions of dollars from China, Russia, and Ukraine. This may be one reason Biden’s policies damage America rather than help America.
But there is something more fundamental at work. In their quest for power and control over the years, the far left has come to hate Americans who disagree with them – particularly conservative Americans. Although the country could never work without its conservatives, the far left wants to destroy them and their way of life. This is evident as far back as Obama’s administration, when Obama gave an interview to Univision and referred to Conservatives and Republican as your enemies. Today more and more Hispanic families are voting Republican, because they are naturally conservative. They are exactly like regular white and black families. They want to work hard, protect their children, and earn their place in America. They do not want open borders or a repetition of the failed communist states of Cuba, Venezuela, the USSR, China, Albania, and North Korea, but want to take care of their people. But don’t lose hope, as he told the Ukrainians, before denying them MiG fighters, “the cavalry is coming.” But for US citizens, that cavalry consists of wide-open borders, confiscatory taxes aimed at the productive, and 87,000 more IRS agents to review your bank records. How wonderful. Have a glass of wine or beer this weekend to celebrate and cry into it.
