President Pinocchio

Not sure if you noticed, but President Biden may be the biggest most consistent liar of presidential history. He lies constantly about his policies, his repeated and destructive gaffs, and his meager personal achievements. One could quip that between all his lies and the torrent of lies issued daily by his former press secretary, Jen Saki, there is a new and surprising supply shortage of Pinocchio wood coming from Italy. The Washington Post, which has issued up to 4 Pinocchios for some of Biden’s florid lies, may have to rent its own special tanker to source its own supply of Pinocchio wood. Speaking of shortages, one recent prominent Biden lie is that his administration would have had to be telepathic to know about the impending baby formula shortage. This is a lie: Biden’s administration knew of the pending shortage as early as last February, but ignored it for months – only to dramatically fly in 1 military flight of formula from Germany last week. Classic Biden: a colossal lie covered by the head fake of purely symbolic and feckless action.

Biden could have fixed gas prices months ago by truly investing in the production of relatively clean US fossil fuels, which remain absolutely essential even to power the electrical grid that the new dirty electric vehicles (they are not in fact cleaner) will run on. Biden repeatedly lied about his efforts to discourage and destroy the US oil industry, playing a dishonest verbal shell game between leases, permits, regulations, and destroying bank investments in fossil fuel. He seems to have forgotten that he, John Kerry, and Barack Obama were all caught on video tape admitting they want gas prices to soar, so they can transition to the flaky and nonexistent green energy options, when we actually have scores of years to slowly figure out global climate change before any true crisis emerges. AOC’s absurd claim, based on illiterate reading of one of those UN intergovernmental panel climate reports that the world would end in 12 years is one of the dumbest, least informed, braying ass of a statement ever made by an American politician. There is in fact no national emergency requiring Americans to suffer profoundly to fill their gas tanks. So, Biden’s entire green energy scheme is completely premised on a big  lie. The notion that a majority of scientists agree with this position is also a big lie. No credible climate scientist believes that man-made climate change, which itself is only a fraction of any climate change measurement, will destroy the world. That is a myth.

Other recent Biden lies include that inflation is caused by Russia’s war on Ukraine. That is complete fantasy. Although Biden inherited a 1.4% inflation rate from Trump, inflation began to sore as soon as Biden passed the 1.9 trillion COVID giveaway package that paid millions of Americans to stay home instead of working, while the US Treasury printed the money to “cover” the debt of Biden’s juvenile and nonsensical spending plans. When the government prints more money to pay more debt with that fake monopoly money, inflation goes up. When fewer Americans work, they are not producing goods and services, so inflation goes up. When the price of gasoline and diesel go up, the cost of transporting products goes up, as well as the cost of many petroleum based products themselves (such as plastics). This also causes inflation. This is why it is true that the war in Ukraine did make matters somewhat worse. But Biden was already well off to the inflation races before the war, and 80% or so of the current inflation and the high gas prices are directly attributable to Biden’s policies, regardless of Putin. Of course, Biden lies, and lies and lies to deflect from these facts. He lies further when he absurdly suggests that more wealth redistribution (and tax increases) will reduce inflation. That is like saying more gasoline will reduce the size and intensity of a fire. It is preposterous; no one with a brain believes that massive government deficit spending reduces inflation.

Finally, Biden is constantly lying about his own personal achievements, which are actually pretty mediocre unless you credit him with creating the most corrupt political family in US history. Biden and his family are worth at least 10 to 20 million, but none of them ever ran a legitimate successful business (much like Barack Obama and Kamala Harris). Biden recently claimed that he was a “full professor at University of Pennsylvania for four years.” This is an utter lie. Universities don’t just randomly tenure people: a tenured professorship takes years of academic work to achieve – work that Biden is not even intellectually capable of doing. The University of Pennsylvania did receive millions of undisclosed donations from the Chinese in Biden’s name, which may be why Biden is cutting our Navy, and moth balling ships, and cancelling programs to investigate China’s murder of hundreds of thousands of Americans by fentanyl poisoning and the deliberate spread of the COVID virus throughout the western world. The Chinese certainly invested wisely in the Biden family – paying for the most anti, most unpatriotic, and most incompetent president in US history. I keep asking myself who the hell the 20% or 30% of the people are that still support Biden. Are these people in comas? Are they people who want America to be completely destroyed, because they bitterly envy and despise America’s many signal achievements – from inventing airliners to creating the personal computer and internet to inventing nuclear power and eliminating polio? Who are all these insane people who can disparage and hate the unbelievably positive achievements of the US, including enjoying the longest functioning  written Constitution in human history? Who are these 20% and what in God’s name is wrong with them?

Biden also lied about being in the top 10% of his undergraduate class in political science. As Biden might himself creepily whisper, “this is simply not true.” He was a mediocre student and has a mediocre mind, as you can tell during his occasional lucent moments when is mind is even working at all, and he is not walking off in the wrong direction, completely forgetting names, places, or concepts, or trying to shake hands with invisible people. Biden also claimed he graduated with several degrees. This was a lie. Biden claimed to have authored speeches he did not write. Biden also claimed to have graduated in the top half of his law school class. This was another lie. Biden actually graduated in the bottom 10 – not the bottom 10%, but the bottom 10 people in his law school class putting him in the very dregs of his mediocre law school class.

All this lying is unforgiveable. We have a President who did not really campaign for the presidency. Instead, he spent the campaign season appearing out of a basement as the media lied for him. His policies are terribly destructive to America and the middle class, but he stubbornly refuses to make any course directions, preferring to seek dirty oil from corrupt countries than to allow the increased production of much cleaner US oil and natural gas, even though the latter approach would be better for the global environment and efforts to combat climate change. Sadly, Biden is not even intellectually functional most of the time. He cannot function without prepared notes or a teleprompter. And he has no creative ideas of his own. Adding insult to injury, he picked the most vacuous, empty-headed Vice President in US history – someone who literally knows nothing about anything and writes and speaks like she is in the 7th grade – with references to “big lands” and “little lands” and endless ruminations about single words or single concepts – having nothing to do with policy — that repeat and repeat ending in incoherent gibberish.

With all these horrors brought on by the worst presidency in US history is it too much to ask that the Biden administration at least stop lying to us with manifestly stupid statements like, “the border is secure?” Can the US citizen not expect even one virtue from this con man from Scranton? If we cannot have a good president, which is painfully evident, can we at least have an honest president? After all, Biden is the one who rode around in a campaign bus called the “No Malarkey.” For example, wouldn’t you respect President Biden much more if he came out and honestly admitted, “we had plenty of notice of the pending baby formula shortage, but simply failed to act in a decisive manner?” What if Biden  surprised us by telling the truth about fossil fuels in a statement like this: “We have to conclude that our green energy plans are simply unrealistic at this time. The truth is that the US will be dependent on significant amounts of fossil fuels for the next foreseeable decades with only 12% of our energy coming from alternative sources today. There is no realistic chance of rapid conversion to green energy.” This would be both truthful and refreshing. But President Pinocchio could never say it. Let’s have a little less malarkey, and a little more honesty from President Pinocchio.
