Biden Gloats and Lies about Recent Job Report

President Biden embarrassed himself by taking a victory lap over last week’s job report, of  July 8, 2022. During that victory lap he tripped and fell on his face – figuratively. The jobs report was positive, with approximately 372,000 jobs added for the month of June, 2022. The lies come in the form of Biden’s claiming (1) that the job report vindicates his policies and (2) that he has the best economy in the history of recent presidents. Both statements are untrue.

First, Biden’s policies have been horrible and have nothing to do with fostering economic growth or adding jobs to the economy. What Biden left out during his grotesque gloating is that the first states to reach pre-pandemic employment levels were red states, run by Republican governors who reject socialist redistributionist policies championed by Biden, Bernie Sanders, Elizabeth Warren, AOC, and others. Like Florida, these various red states rejected or ended early vaccine mandates, mask mandates, welfare supplemental payments and welfare without work requirements – all of which tend to slow the return to work and productivity by the blue states. So, while the red states roared back to pre-COVID economic activity levels, the blue states actually lost 1.3 million jobs. Although those blue states, such as New York, New Jersey, Illinois, and California reflect and have implemented policies championed by the far left, including Biden, somehow Biden did not want to claim credit for the 1.3 million jobs lost from his economic policies. He just quietly took credit for the red states recovery – you know the states his administration is suing in court to fight against the very policies that are working in the red states, such as less bureaucracy and regulation.

When Biden took over from Trump, we had a 1.4% inflation rate – 1.4%! Today, the inflation rate for consumers was estimated to be 9.1% (on an annual basis). So, Biden’s economic illiteracy and wild, redistributionist government spending have taken us from 1.4% inflation to nearly 10% inflation. Biden crows about increases in worker wages, but real wages are down dramatically when you subtract the effects of inflation. Simply put, regular Americans of all races, genders, and socioeconomic groups are getting poorer and poorer under Biden.

Finally, Biden’s policies not Putin’s war and not MAGA hat wearing Republicans have pushed us into a recession. Do you remember Trump’s V-shaped recovery. After the COVID shut down ended, the US economy rebounded (under Trump) with unbelievably high increases in the strength of the US economy, which rebounded by as much as 34% in one month and reclaimed millions of lost jobs: millions, not thousands. In contrast, most economists believe we are in recession. In the first quarter of 2022, the US economy shrunk by 1.6%. So, Biden is actually gloating about shrinking the US economy. This recession cannot be blamed on COVID, Putin, or Trump. Again, Trump grew the economy dramatically during his portion of the COVID recovery period and red states are still growing while socialist leaning blue states continue to whither and hemorrhage productive workers most of whom only want to make their own way in America without constant interference by bloated government entities and socialist policies such as those promoted by Biden and the far left.
