Always eager to stick her own foot in her mouth, AOC suggested yesterday that Congress should provide more oversight over the Supreme Court, a co-equal branch of government. Lacking the legal knowledge and intelligence to argue any of the recent Court decisions on the merits, what AOC is essential doing is threatening the Supreme Court justices with possible sanctions such as impeachment if the Court does not stop righting legal decisions that the far left hates. Ironically, such threats would be a basis for impeaching AOC and removing her from Congress. We are not allowed to influence Supreme Court decisions by threatening or intimidating the Supreme Court Justices, which is what the left is doing.
For decades we had a left-leaning Supreme Court. Indeed, the Roe v. Wade decision inventing the right to an abortion with zero textual support in the Constitution, was exactly such a Court. Several liberal justices completely invented a nationwide right to have an abortion against the will of the people in many states. Oddly, I do not remember any Republicans agitating to pack the Court, change the electoral college, threaten Supreme Court Justices, or send crazed rioters to the homes of Supreme Court Justices, which is all illegal conduct. But now that we have a Supreme Court that does not simply rubber stamp the policies of the lunatic left, nut cases like AOC are willing to propose all kinds of inappropriate kinds of measures to change or intimidate the Court. Please remember that it is the Court here that is protecting our Democratic Republic by reigning in a president who is not only cognitively impaired, but who continues to violate the law in numerous ways, including by refusing to enforce immigration laws, an impeachable offense. But AOC likes that legal violation. She is completely in favor of damaging or destroying America through massive immigration by unskilled workers around the world averaging a 6th grade education. Neither America or Europe needs those kinds of immigrants. They cost US taxpayers hundreds of billions of dollars a year. But AOC is happy to violate her oath of office to protect the Constitution and US taxpayers so she can promote massive illegal immigration in violation of US law.
Similarly, you would think that Congress would be happy about the Supreme Court decision reigning in Biden’s reckless loan forgiveness give aways. The President does not have the power to simply spend a trillion by decree on programs and policies not authorized by Congress. He cannot give money to some people at the expense of other people. For example, the President should not be funding new Green expenditures to pay off supporters and other corrupt politicians. That is called corruption. The President cannot unilaterally force people to buy insurance. He cannot unilaterally abolish gas and diesel vehicles. He cannot unilaterally impose a carbon tax or a tax on gas and oil profits. All such measures have to come through legislation by Congress. We have a President, not a King, thanks to the Founding Fathers, and particular George Washington, who could have been king if he thought like Obama, Biden or AOC.
In any case, I thought AOC insists that we are all going to die of climate change in 8 more years. 4 years ago, in one of the dumbest statements in US history, AOC states that the world is going to end in 12 years from climate change. No credible scientists on Earth believe that, but AOC did succeed in making thousands of gullible teenagers, such as Greta Thunberg hysterical, and in some cases even suicidal over the supposed drowning of the world.
Strangely after the predictions of the imminent loss of vast coastal areas from supposed glacial melt, liberals including AOC and Obama continued to buy and own property along the world’s scenic coastlines. Obviously, liberals do not believe their own lies. Global warming scares are all about corrupt people becoming filthy rich. It is all a manipulative, liberal canard.
Still we have to ask AOC pointedly, if you truly believe the world is gong to end from climate change then why do you care about legislative oversight over the Supreme Court. Why would you care about future college admissions practices without affirmative action or massive give aways to people with student loan debt, or massive illegal immigration if the world is going to end in a few years? You cannot rationally claim to be worried about events occurring in the coming decades, while insisting that the world is about to end in 8 years. And if you do not really believe the world is not going to end in 8 years, then why are you saying it? Why are you manipulating the people that you are supposed to be serving in this manner? If you are looking to impeach someone from misconduct, you might consider impeaching yourself for the inflammatory nonsense you keep uttering. Meanwhile, try to cure your foot in mouth disease, work on legislation or on a policy that might help people for a change, instead of taking positions on the far left that the average American people, much wiser than hollow politicians, reject.
